  • 3D Printing: Jewelry Fabrication & Arts

    Bring your creations to life in this 3D printing class. The ancient craft of jewelry making is brought to the modern world using TinkerCAD and 3D printers. Students will learn to build 2D and 3D models on the computer using CAD software. They will design and print a pair of earrings, a ring, or a pendant in this class. Additionally, they will get to bring home two of their 3D creations, and other beaded creations. Printing and material fees are included.

    Middle and High School age band lessons for woodwinds and brass for grades 6-12! Choose from 4, 8 or 16 lessons at 25 minutes each lesson. (please note that the fewer lessons you choose or if you choose the payment plan, the price will be slightly higher due to processing fees) Lessons will be offered Monday-Thursday: Sign up for your lessons and then our instructor will contact you to set up times.

  • Glow in the Dark Art

    These projects will ROCK your child’s world long after the lights go out at night. You guessed it, all the project we create in this camp will glow-in-the-dark! How cool is that?!?!?! We will be working with a variety of different art supplies including clay, paint and other luminescent materials to create masterpieces your child will be ready to show off in the dark!   • Jr. Engineering

    If learners like building and figuring out how things work, they will love this class. Join us as we explore, investigate, and solve problems while learning about simple machines' engineering building blocks. Students working in pairs will enjoy handson activities using LEGO® Gears and unique LEGO® Technic® engineering components that incorporate math, science, and creativity. They will then use what they learned to solve challenges. Learning projects may include mini mechanical concept models, a moving dragon, scale, clown, crane, car, fan, merrygo-round, and more. Students will be working in pairs.

    Amore Art brings us four different classes with different themes! Enjoy some fun with your toddler in these awesome Adult and Me Art classes! Come and explore an element of art, practice fine motor skills, and enjoy being involved in a fun, creative environment! Mirror Painting: Explore mirror painting to create a butterfly! Together we will also make flowers using cupcake liners to add to your child's project! June 13th Monster Truck: Explore patterned paint rolling using a monster truck! Together we will also create a paper roll race car to adhere to your child's painting! August 1st Bumblebee: Create an adorable bumblebee project. Together we will explore bubble wrap stamping to create a honeycomb painting. Using paper cutouts, we'll make a bumblebee to adhere to your child's painting! July 18th Paper Plate Fishbowl: Explore watercolor painting using a coffee filter to create a fish. Together we will also create a paper plate fish bowl to display your child's fish painting.     For Minecraft enthusiasts that want to learn how to create their own custom sword. Learn how to make custom tools! Learn to make mods for Minecraft: Java Edition using MCreator. Students should have basic reading skills and be comfortable using a computer. Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day. Minecraft is a Mojang Studios trademark.   • Multiplayer Minecraft: Olympic Games

    Compete in a world of pixelated challenges! Join us for a thrilling week of Minecraft competitions, where you'll test your skills against other players in a variety of exciting events. Create arenas with others like the giant Colosseum. Build different mini games or work together to make a giant battle arena! We will be using the PC/Java Edition of Minecraft.   • Painting with Threads

    Calling all fashion lovers! From creating your very own paper doll to designing a closet of clothes filled with splashes of colors, gems, and glitter!   • Rocket Camp: Kindergarten Kickoff!

    FREE Event for incoming Kindergartners!! Get ready to blast off into kindergarten! Rocket Camp is a new FREE event designed to welcome kindergarten students registered at Rockford Elementary Arts Magnet School to help them become familiar with their new school environment. Rocket Camp meets on August 5th and 6th from 9:00–11:00 AM, giving children the opportunity to explore the kindergarten classrooms, engage in fun activities with our kindergarten teachers, complete early literacy and math assessments, and meet new friends who will be their classmates this fall. This is a great way to ease the transition into kindergarten and build excitement for the school year ahead. Transportation is not provided. Rocket Camp is exclusively available for students enrolled in Kindergarten at REAMS for the 2025-2026 school year. We can’t wait to meet our future Rockets!
