  • 6th Grade Cross Country: Running with the Rockets

    A terrific opportunity for 6th graders to experience what running, strength training, and racing is like with Rockford Cross Country. Participants will be coached by Rockford Cross Country coaches and practice with the 7th and 8th grade junior high athletes. They will have the opportunity to compete in at least 1 junior high/middle school cross country meet. Running with the Rockets is a great way to start-off the school year with your fellow middle school classmates, meet new friends, and interact with Rockford Cross Country coaches and athletes. Class is limited to 15 participants and a t-shirt is included. This program is run through Community Education and should be paid through Community Education and not the High School. This program does not qualify for lettering, or MSHSL organized activities. Instructed by Colleen Prudhomme
  • Flag Football

    Girls and boys ages 4 through 4th grade are invited to join us for a fun-filled season of Flag Football! Three divisions will be conducted, 4 years-kindergarten, grades 1-2, and grades 3-4. Participants learn the rules and techniques and play flag football games. Players will receive a t-shirt uniform. All other equipment will be provided. . Volunteer coaches are needed! The registration deadline is a firm date of sept. 8th at 9pm.
  • One Goal: Learn to Skate Program

    Delano Area Youth Hockey Association (DAYHA) is again offering our OneGoal, Learn to Skate Program. The OneGoal program is designed specifically for kids ages 4-8 looking for a basic introduction to hockey. The on-ice sessions are designed to teach newcomers some game basics in a fun and safe environment. DAYHA coaches and student-athletes run all on-ice sessions. On-ice and off-ice support is offered to teach kids how to get their equipment on, hold a stick and, most importantly, skate. The program will provide a Q&A session designed to help parents and players understand the equipment, expectations of the program, and additional opportunities to skate for the 2022-2023 season. DAYHA will provide equipment (excluding skates, stick, support, and mouthguard) for families new to hockey and do not have their own equipment (a $150.00 security deposit is required). All interested OneGoal, Learn to Skate participants can also be enrolled in DAYHA’s Intro to Hockey program. Intro to Hockey will provide the participants with an additional ten on-ice sessions. The intro program runs once per week on Saturday. If you choose to sign your child up for the 2022-2023 DAYHA hockey season, you will be able to use the OneGoal equipment for the entire season. More detailed information will be provided at the parent meeting.

    Sign up early for this fun night of RC racing cars that features awesome Remote Control cars and course! Interested in RC Cars? Want to try racing them on a track? Then come join us for some fun as we explore what makes them work and then get to try them out. Participants will leave with a better understanding of the hobby, and get some time testing out their driving skills on a few different types of RC Cars and Trucks.
  • Rocket Strength

    Learn to train & get ahead of the game! This youth strength and conditioning program focuses on developing a well-rounded athlete including strength, flexibility, power, agility, and coordination. It is designed to build an appropriate foundation for youth to keep up with the increased demands of competitive sports, prevent injury, and prepare for long-term athletic success. Training workouts include body weight movements, strength challenges, and fun games.
  • Youth Dance Camp

    Join our Dance coaches and Dance Team members for a 4 day dance camp with a performance at the football game on the 5th night! ** Registration for this camp closes at 11:59pm on 9th. . Campers will learn a routine that they will perform at the Varsity football game on Friday, Oct. 14th. This camp will run from 3pm-4:30 pm starting on Oct. 10th and will run for 4 afternoons Mon-Thur and 1 Friday night performance. Dancers will receive a t-shirt to perform in that they get to keep.
  • Youth Fall Soccer

    Want to join in the fun and expand your soccer skills and knowledge right here on Rockford’s campus? This program will help prepare our local youth for school and/or club soccer once they enter 7th grade. We will be splitting up into two age groups: Grades 3rd/4th ($30) and 5th/6th ($38). We will be looking to have 1 or 2 “games” with surrounding teams to show off our skills! (Please note that upon registration you will not be charged until we meet our minimum number of participants. Once we hit that number, you will be charged)
